Hi there! Iâm Ellen. đŠˇ
Iâve been stitching for more than fifty years â ever since I was a little girl learning at my grandmotherâs knee. And for the last twenty-five years, Iâve had the joy of teaching this craft to stitchers all over the world.
Before all of this, I was a first-grade teacher, so helping people learn step by step â without overwhelm â is just the way Iâm wired. Iâve owned two needlework shops, written a book, and had my pattern line carried in stores as far away as France.
But Iâll tell you what, my friend: nothing lights me up quite like watching a stitcher realize sheâs capable of so much more than she believed.
Because the stitchers who create beautiful work arenât born with some magical gift.
Theyâve learned how to see â how to look at a canvas, trust their own eye, and bring their vision to life.
