Let's take a closer look at what you will be learning...

Berries and Small Fruits

Silk ribbon + different sizes and shapes of beads = beautiful raised flowers, three-dimensional berries, assorted small fruits, and so much more!

Just let your imagination run wild with all of the different combinations you can conjure up to embellish your needlepoint canvases.

Dragonfly Wings

Take a little bit of fine gauge stainless steel wire, snippets of cotton organdy, and some silk embroidery thread, put them all together - and before you know it, you’ll have created a pair of gossamer dragonfly wings that you can attach to your needlepoint canvas.

And the best part is, you can use the same technique to make other kinds of insect wings - just change the shape of your sculptured wire base.

Leaves

Say goodbye to flat and boring when you learn to create exquisite dimensional leaves and flower petals using nothing more than a wee bit of lightweight cotton muslin, some fine gauge stainless steel wire, and silk or cotton embroidery floss.

Attaching these beauties to your needlepoint canvases is easy peasy, too.

Meet Your Needlepoint Guide…

Hi there! I’m Ellen Johnson, a former first-grade teacher turned needlepoint teacher and author.

Wondering why you should trust me to be your Needlepoint Guide?

Well, here's a little bit of background info about me...

I've mentored hundreds of stitchers just like you.

I love sharing time-tested needlepoint success strategies and systems that I've developed during my 25 + years of teaching in my own shop and around the USA.

My mission is to help more stitchers overcome their challenges and frustrations so they can stitch with confidence.

I'm the founder of The Stitcher's Club – a premium membership community that empowers needle artists by providing them with resources, relationships and valuable training materials.

I've written articles and designed projects for a variety of needlework magazines and I'm the author of The Embroidered Home.

Now more than ever, we are all craving connection and a way to express our creativity. Needlepoint has been a way for me to achieve both of these, and I know it can do the same thing for you.

I'M READY TO LEARN STUMPWORK!
