I feel I get two main things out of The Stitcher's Club: 1- skill development! I feel I have grown in my knowledge and techniques as a stitcher, which is wonderful, especially as I live so far away from a local needlepoint shop. 2- a small, friendly supportive community of stitchers who are wonderfully encouraging. While I belong to other Facebook groups, I confess I am often intimidated to chime in. However, in our group, I feel it is a safe space to share challenges and triumphs in stitching. When Ellen is not available to chime in personally, there are always lovely folks sharing their knowledge, which is fantastic!
